Confetti

Most confetti photographs now are taken, at the request of the officiating minister, outside the church grounds and is usually one of the last photographs to be taken at the church. It is truly magical stuff as in real life it is a cascade of coloured congratulations, but on two dimensional photographs it can look like a bad attack of dandruff and in wet weather it only wishes to transfer its many colours onto the brides dress, so take the opportunity while travelling to the reception venue to check your partner for confetti and have a bit of fun at the same time!

The WeatherA Wedding photo

The one thing that cannot be organised, (and believe me I have tried).Usually if the weather has decided not to co-operate, a quick discussion at the signing of the registers will usually decide to allow the bride and groom to walk down the aisle to their favourite wedding march (and only once have I heard the theme tune from "Star Wars" being the favoured musical moment), then it is a good idea to return to the chancel steps for photographs to be organised.

The Cake

Usually this photograph is taken before the guests sit down for their meal for two reasons. First of all it saves having to pay the photographer to wait around two hours for one photograph. Secondly when you eventually sit down for the wedding breakfast you can rest easy that the awful man who has been asking you to watch the birdie for the last two hours has packed up and gone home.
